my wife, Hannah, and I dated for five years before we got married, and half of that was spent long distance (if you know, you know). during that time we began to tell each other things like, “someday, we can watch all the movies we want together” or “someday, we can talk face to face without texting all the time” or “someday, i won’t have to say goodbye to you and cry my eyes out at the airport.” we couldn’t wait for someday because we knew what it meant to us.

For us, someday wasn’t just a word, it was a promise.

In 2015, when our wedding day came, it was all that we dreamed for.

and now…someday is our everyday.
